Logan College of Chiropractic University Progams

Dr. Roger Tepe, PhD, Associate Professor/Dean of Research and Development at the Logan College research facility in Chesterfield MO., lead the research team. The study measured and analyzed the prolonged fatigue effects of sitting in an automotive seat on the lower paraspinal muscles. Measurements were taken over two 3-hour testing periods using surface EMG technology and comparing the effects on the fatigue rates of the muscles while seated in a static seat versus a seat with the CMG motion technology.
